Summer Daze

Herefordshire in the Summer is something to behold.  We celebrate our farming heritage and the wonderful gifts that come out of our unique county - from Poetry in all its forms to our fabulous food.  Here are some suggestions for some great days out.

 

 

Ledbury Poetry Festival (28th Jun - 7th Jul)

Celebrating the global Poetry community, Ledbury Poetry Festival is the biggest poetry festival in the UK and sees Ledbury come alive with a festival as unique as Ledbury itself is. Don’t worry if you’re a Poetry novice, we are sure you’ll find something to ignore a new passion.  Full of events, special guests and workshops there’s something for everyone and every budget.  

 

 

Lakefest (7th-11th Aug)

Just up the road from us in the stunning backdrop of the Eastnor Castle Deer Park, Lakefest is a great, laid back family festival.  It’s got everything from music icons to silent discos to a fun fair! Make a weekend of it and bring the whole family.

 

 

Hereford Indie Food Festival (23rd-26th Aug)

Street food, markets, live music and DJ’s all in one place. In a funky urban setting with a great laid back summer vibe it’s a must to see all the wonderful and unique produce Herefordshire has to offer.
